Patty Law Firm
The Patty Law Firm is a general practice firm established in 1981. The firm practices in Northwest Georgia and Southeast Tennessee. While the firm has a general practice, it has an emphasis in civil litigation, real estate law, commercial law and government law. The firm also provides wills and probates estates.
The firm has two attorneys, and two paralegals all of whom are life long residents of Northwest Georgia.
Clifton M Patty, Jr. is a 1974 graduate of Emory University School of Law. Mr. Patty was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1974 and is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts is Georgia and in the United States District for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Mr.Patty is general counsel for Northwest Georgia Bank and has extensive civil litigation and real estate experience.
C. Chad Young is a 1996 cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. Mr. Young was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1996 and to the Tennessee Bar in 1997. Mr. Young is licensed to practice in all federal and state courts in Georgia and Tennessee. Mr. Young has significant civil litigation experience,particularly in the areas of business litigation, real estate litigation and personal injury litigation. Mr. Young also provides legal services to several business clients, including developers.
Mr.Patty and Mr. Young have represented government clients for several years. They have significant experience in government law, including the areas of planning and zoning, sewer and storm water condemnation.
Northwest Georgia Title Insurance Company, Inc. is a title insurance company and is an agent for Fidelity Title Insurance Company. Northwest Georgia Title Insurance Company, Inc. is fully staffed to perform all services necessary for all types of real estate closings, both residential and commercial. Northwest Georgia Title Insurance Company, Inc. and the Patty Law Office have handled numerous commercial real estate transactions.
